The award-winning ‘Pride of the West’ Marching Band proudly represents Mountain Ridge High School in Glendale, AZ. Mountain Ridge is a part of the Deer Valley Unified School District and is an Arizona ‘School of Excellence.’
The ‘Pride of the West’ Marching Band is one of the most visible and accomplished groups on the Mountain Ridge High School campus. Comprised of nearly 200 student performers, the ensemble boasts a 30-year history of proud tradition and excellence.
The ‘Pride of the West’ Marching Band is a 5-time ABODA State Champions, are the current 4-time defending ABODA State Champions, and are consistent Bands of America (BOA) Regional Finalists. The ensemble has garnered national recognition through performances in numerous events across the United States, including the Pearl Harbor Day Parade in Hawaii, the Rose Parade in Pasadena, and the Presidential Inaugural Parade in Washington DC.
The ‘Pride of the West’ is supported by a dedicated group of Band Aides and Ridge Roadies who bring their skill and service to every facet of the program.
