Band Camp

Band Camp is the heart of summer preparation. Students learn the marching show, build teamwork, and form friendships that last all year long.

8th graders are invited to perform with Pride of the West at a home football game — a great preview of life in the Ridge Band program.
Welcome to Ridge Band
Welcome to Mountain Ridge High School. We look forward to having you as part of our band family. The Pride of the West is a nationally competitive program with a strong tradition of excellence, community, and fun.
Some of the advantages of being in the Ridge Band program:
- Participation in a nationally competitive marching band
- Travel opportunities to competitions and events across the region
- Performance experience in concert, jazz, and marching settings
- Leadership development through section leadership and drum major opportunities
- Scholarships available through the Band Aides booster organization
- A close-knit community of students who support each other on and off the field
- Memories and friendships that last well beyond high school
Especially during this year of transition, we want to make sure every incoming student feels welcomed, prepared, and excited. Don’t hesitate to reach out with questions!
Students:
Come ready to learn, work hard, and have fun. Bring your enthusiasm — everything else we’ll teach you. All instruments and equipment needs will be discussed at Start-Up Day.
Parents:
The MRHS Band Aides is a powerhouse organization that provides financial and volunteer support for the different music and guard programs. The organization relies heavily on the diverse talents of its members. Please consider getting involved and sharing the best part of your child’s high school experience.
